Mani returns to the reserve in Quebec where she grew up. Resolved to reintegrate into the community, she gets involved in the debate around a referendum on allowing the free sale of alcohol on the reserve. Opposing forces quickly divide the community into two sides who face off with each other.
Mani revient dans la communauté du Québec où elle a grandi. Résolue à se frayer une place, elle s’investit dans le débat entourant un référendum qui vise à permettre la vente libre d’alcool dans la réserve. Des forces opposées divisent rapidement la communauté en deux clans qui se retrouvent dans un face-à-face visant.
