All My Puny Sorrows
Based on the 2014 international best-selling novel by Mriam Toews, All My Puny Sorrows tells the story of two Mennonite sisters who leave their religious lives behind. One has become a gifted concert pianist (Sarah Gadon) obsessed with ending her life, the other is a struggling writer (Alison Pill) who is wrestling with her sister's decision and, through her reckoning, makes profound discoveries about herself. Tenderly adapted by Michael McGowan (One Week), All My Puny Sorrows infuses wry humour into this heart-wrenching story on the limits of love.
